Account credit
Account credit is a balance held in your DayEscape account that you can spend on future bookings.
How you get it
Credit is added to your account when you cancel a booking and choose credit instead of a card refund. It may also be added if we issue a goodwill gesture or correction.
How to use it
You don't need to do anything special — credit is applied automatically at checkout. If you have credit available, you'll see it deducted from your total before you confirm payment.
If your credit covers the full amount, you won't need to enter a card at all. If the booking costs more than your credit balance, you'll pay the difference by card.
A note on currencies
Credit is held in the currency it was originally issued in. EUR credit stays as EUR; AUD credit stays as AUD. The two don't mix, so you'll see your balance separately if you've booked in both regions.
Credit is applied to bookings in the matching currency — it won't apply automatically if you're booking in a different currency to your credit balance.

Your credit balance is shown in your account under account settings.
