Privacy Policy

Effective date: 11 June 2026

This policy explains what personal data DayEscape collects, why, and the rights you have over it. We keep it plain so you actually know what's happening with your data.

1. Who we are

DayEscape is operated by Livmore Pty Ltd, registered in Spain ("we", "us"), the data controller for your personal data. Reach our privacy team at privacy@dayescape.co, or write to us at our registered office in Alicante, Spain.

2. What we collect

  • Account data — name, email, password, and preferences.
  • Booking data — the escapes you book, dates, party size and history.
  • Intention data — the reason or mood you share for an escape (for example, to focus, reset or celebrate), and similar preference signals.
  • Feedback and reviews — ratings, comments, photos and how your escape went.
  • Payment data — handled by our payment provider, Stripe; we receive confirmation and limited details, not your full card number.
  • Usage and device data — how you interact with our platform, plus basic device and log information.
  • Communications — messages you send us and your contact preferences.

4. AI and your data

We use data such as your bookings, intention signals and feedback to develop and improve our recommendations and AI-powered features — for example, matching the right escape to how you want to feel. Where we can, we use this data in de-identified or aggregated form. We don't use it to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you without a lawful basis, and we'll be transparent when you're interacting with an AI feature. You can object to, or withdraw consent for, this use at any time (see Section 8) — it won't stop you from booking.

5. Who we share it with

  • Partner spaces — only the details needed to honour your booking (such as your name and booking time).
  • Service providers (processors) — including Stripe (payments), Supabase (database and hosting), our hosting provider, and our email provider — who act on our instructions.
  • Authorities or advisers — where we're legally required to, or to protect our rights.

We don't sell your personal data.

6. International transfers

We operate across Europe and Australia, and some providers process data outside the EEA. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your data.

7. How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above — for the life of your account, plus any period required for legal, tax or dispute reasons — then delete or anonymise it.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your data, object to certain uses, and withdraw consent at any time. Email privacy@dayescape.co and we'll respond within the timeframes the law requires. If you're unhappy, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es) or your local supervisory authority.

9. Cookies

We use cookies and similar tools to run the platform, remember preferences and understand usage. You can manage these through our cookie banner. See our Cookie Notice for detail.

10. Children

DayEscape is for adults (18+). We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we'll remove it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our service or the law changes. If changes are material, we'll let you know and update the effective date above.

12. Contact
