Cancelling your booking and getting a refund
We want you to feel good about booking with DayEscape. Here's how cancellations work.
How to cancel
Go to your bookings in your account, open the booking you'd like to cancel, and select "Cancel booking." You'll be asked to confirm before anything is finalised.
Refund to your card or account credit
When you cancel, you can choose how you'd like the money back:
- Refund to your original card — the amount goes back to the card you used to pay. This usually takes 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
- Account credit — the full amount is added to your DayEscape account straight away. You can use it on any future booking.
Account credit is a good option if you're planning to rebook — it's instant and you can use it right away.
When refunds aren't possible
If your booking date has already passed, or if you're cancelling on the day of your escape after check-in has begun, a refund may not be available. The eligibility details are shown when you go to cancel.
